Country House Montessino combines the individuality of a small boutique B&B with the comforts of a resort. The mansion is nestled in the heart of the Monferrato’s countryside on a hilltop of one of the picturesque hills of the Monferrato with fabulous views and sunsets. Built in1850 the hamlet Montessino belonged to a large Italian wine-growing family, and the traces of the past are still visible for example in the walls made of stone and our historic wine cellar.
Restored in 2016 with great passion and soul, the owners turned this beautiful and quiet spot into their new home and are happy to share this little paradise with guests from all over the world.
In order to maintain the calm of this unique place we ask for your understanding that children can only be admitted from the age of 16 years up.

The six double rooms with en-suite bathrooms differ in location and size and are individually furnished and offer all the same comfort of modern amenities like tea-making facilities, air-conditioning, heating, flat satellite TV, and free Wifi. Three of them have balconies with sweeping panoramic views. Moreover, they are all decorated with works by the expressionist Alessandro Cardamone.
Start your day with a hearty, balanced breakfast buffet with freshly ground coffee, local specialties and organic delicacies as well as fruits from own cultivation.
In the large garden, you will find our saltwater pool and a relaxing outdoor whirlpool. Enjoy at La Scuderia, the former riding stable and now converted to a wellness zone, a relaxing massage or indulge your body and mind in the detached techniques of yoga in our splendid yoga room. For sporty guests, La Scuderia offers an equipped gym and during winter, it offers a cozy Sauna. The Zen Island in the center of the hillside with its almost 360° view invites for meditation or relaxation while enjoying the Italian sun.
