B&B Le Cerque, nestled in the tranquil Umbrian countryside, is an oasis of serenity embraced by 22 hectares of parkland, some of which is dedicated to the production of oil and wine.
The farmhouse, originally from the seventeenth century and recently renovated, offers a magnificent view thanks to its hilltop position. From the pool atop the hill, one can admire a splendid panorama that stretches as far as the eye can see, enriched by the distant sounds of church bells from the valley and the chirping of birds.
The six rooms, one of which is accessible to people with disabilities, are spacious and tastefully furnished, all equipped with private bathrooms. They offer a welcoming and warm atmosphere, with brick ceilings and oak beams characteristic of traditional Umbrian architecture. The communal spaces, heated by two fireplaces and illuminated by large windows, house a 1873 grand piano recently restored and a Hartmann upright piano. Within the park, there are trails suitable for trekking and cycling, perfect for immersing oneself in the surrounding nature. You can follow the course of the Tiber River before it swells towards Rome or easily reach Lake Trasimeno for summer swims or leisurely walks along its shores in winter.
Periodically, wine tastings and cooking courses with local sommeliers and chefs are organized. The farmhouse's cellar hosts tastings of Umbrian wines and those from other Italian regions, accompanied by local products. In the spacious kitchen, cooking courses take place, during which typical Umbrian dishes will be prepared and enjoyed.
