Palazzo Scammacca was rebuilt by Baron Scammacca del Murgo in the 18th century after the great earthquake of 1693.
In 2010, Baron Emanuele Scammacca del Murgo began restoring the building and today the apartments are rented to travelers looking for a comfortable stay in the centre of Catania. You will find Piazza Duomo at 300 meters from the Palazzo.
