Located in the prime area of Jardim do Penedo da Saudade and in a protected area of UNESCO Heritage, this lodging, with the same name, is much more than just an accommodation.

Respecting the characteristics of the existing construction, the building from the beginning of the 20th century, has been adapted to provide rooms and common spaces bathed in natural light and decorated with care and detail. Inspired by academic experience and Coimbra traditions, guests are welcomed into a house that belongs to everyone and that will be the starting point to experience the Coimbra love Affair.

Belonging to the same family for three generations, the Relógio do Sol house, initially built as a monastery, later became a family home and today shares its history with the guests of this modern and comfortable Rural Tourism unit.

The familiar and welcoming atmosphere of the house is highlighted by modern decor where wood, light fabrics and warm colors are dominant.

Feel close to the Douro by the vineyards that surround the house and visit the World Heritage region, our location is just 2 km from Régua and allows quick access to good communication routes.

The five rooms - three double / twin, one suite and one superior room - have a small porch from which you can enjoy the view of the pool.
