wild nature and beaches of Gargano

The Gargano, also known as Spur of Italy coincides with the promontory that extends into the northern part of Apulia. It is entirely surrounded by the Adriatic Sea, except to the west, where it borders with the land.
The coast of Gargano is rich in beaches and tourist facilities. Among the most fascinating places on the coast, we recommend you to visit Mattinata, Vieste, Peschici and Rodi Garganico. The two major salt lakes of Hvar and Varano are located in the northern part of the peninsula.

The National Park of Gargano or Forest Umbra, also worth a visit. 11,000 hectares that incorporates an organic garden with variegated beech trees, maples, cedars, oaks, yews and a unique variety of beautiful orchids. Peschici is about 20 km.
