The Wine Region of Dubrovnik

Gruda is a half-hour drive from Dubrovnik just minutes from the border with Montenegro. This region is still little known by the mass tourism that has partly ruined the atmosphere of Dubrovnik, here you can still breathe the authentic relaxed life of the past, with stone houses scattered in the valley and among the hills that separate it from the sea, which is just a few kilometers from the main road.

This area is perfect for bicycle excursions between the different wine producers who are well connected to each other. Several restaurants are a must visit and try, not only for the typical cuisine of the area but because they are situated on the river and also offer tables literally located in the river bed, an experience to do!
