Not every day you will find yourself in an old “Palazzo”, and Ducale Venturi is one of those places where you instantly feel like stepping into the past. If you close your eyes for a moment and play some medieval music, you might imagine the Templar knights defending this walls from foreign attackers, or mythical creatures. The 16th century estate has a rich history, being one of the unique places I have visited. The renovation was also remarkable, which had to be done with the utmost care by my hosts, since everything had to be according to the Authority for Cultural Heritage which supervised it, as I was told.

The exclusive hospitality of Palazzo Ducale Venturi will make you never leave the place! From an underground pool and cryosauna in the SPA & Wellness area; an astonishing landscape and artful interior; to delicious breakfast with local food. Situated in the rural part of Minervino di Lecce, the Relais made me feel very much excluded, and yet so close to all the amazing things I could discover in the area of Lecce. But first, upon my arrival, I wanted to discover a fine glass of Puglian wine while sitting next to the blue waters of the swimming pool. Before any other new discoveries, that is how I decided to end my day.
