The most beautiful beaches of Sardinia
When we say Costa Smeralda, we immediately think of Porto Cervo and the famous beaches such as Cala di Volpe, Cala Capriccioli, Golfo Pevero and Liscia Ruja.
But the 80 km long coastline offers much more than luxury, night life and big yachts! For example, the Spiaggia del Principe, a hidden crescent-shaped bay with shallow clear water, located between fragrant bushes and limestone rocks. Or Spiaggia delle Piscine, 1 km from Spiaggia di Costa Serena. The water is crystal clear and has an emerald green color, and the sand is very fine. An interesting destination for surfers and kiters is Porto Pollo, where there are schools that also rent sports equipment.
From Palau, you can take the boat to the Maddalena Archipelago. But certainly first visit Capo d'Orso, where the continuous action of the wind has shaped the granite, creating a spectacular sculpture in the shape of a bear (orso) with the head (capo) looking at the islands.
After Palau, we enter another picturesque landscape in Padula Piatta, a long beach of pure white, coarse sand.
