Alghero, Stintino and Castelsardo

beautiful beaches, excellent seafood, winery...Welcome to Sardinia!

Hiking in Stintino
Stintino, a delightful old fishing village, boasts a rich history and is nestled amidst stunning natural beauty. Notable attractions include the ancient parish church adorned with precious artworks and the pristine golden beaches kissed by crystal-clear waters.
In Stintino, activities such as hiking and biking are becoming increasingly popular. In the spring, the island offers a beautifully green environment, and in the summer, stunning flowers bloom.

Alghero
In Alghero (also known as "Little Barcelona"), traces of its Catalan past can still be found today: in the historic center and on the beautiful beaches.
It is a modern city with a strong cultural and historical tradition. Spanish influences can be seen in the streets, full of details from the Aragonese conquerors, as well as in the people and the signs, which are in both Italian and Catalan (sometimes even exclusively Catalan).

Castelsardo
Castelsardo is a picturesque seaside town. In the past, the town served as a defensive fortress and a strategic control point. In the old town, you can still see the characteristics of a medieval fortress town, with massive fortifications, steep stairs, and narrow streets.
A must-visit is the Doria Castle, which is now a museum. A short distance from the castle stands the 14th-century Cathedral of Sant’Antonio, with its tall bell tower covered in colorful majolica tiles and overlooking the sea.
