Trani

Trani is a beautiful city on the Adriatic Sea, near Bari airport, which attracts travelers thanks to its magnificent harbor and historical architectural heritage.
It is a tourist must-visit in Apulia and is primarily explored for its ancient historic center, built with the characteristic limestone of Trani, featuring beautiful buildings and churches, the harbor, and the Castle of King Frederick II that overlooks the sea. All of this creates an unforgettable experience for all travelers who can appreciate artistic beauty.
The Romanesque cathedral, dedicated to San Nicola Pelligrino (1097), is a remarkable building facing the sea, which became a landmark for sailors; the Ognissanti (All Saints) Church, built by the Templars in the 13th century; the monastery and the Colonna Church, the Church of San Francesco, and the San Giacomo Church complete the Romanesque tour of Trani.
However, you cannot leave before seeing the Palazzo dei Dogi of Venice as well as the Synagogue of Giudecca, once a ghetto and a refuge for Jews.
