the white city

Ostuni

Ostuni is nicknamed the "White City" due to its white-painted houses. It sits atop a hill and offers views over a flat landscape beneath Ostuni, characterized by olive trees.
The narrow streets and squares of the center are built around the city's main monument, the cathedral. The cathedral is particularly famous for its facade with three portals, above which rose windows are installed, consisting of concentric rings.
