The city of San Francesco

Assisi is one of the most visited cities in Umbria. It is known for being the home of St. Francis and St. Clare, making it the main religious center in the region. The modern city has been developed without altering the structure of the ancient city. A network of narrow streets connects various squares on different levels. In addition to the Basilica of San Francesco and the Santa Chiara Church, Assisi offers several other attractions to explore.

These include the Temple of Minerva, the "Captain of the People" palace, and the imposing Rocca Maggiore, located just outside the city walls. Furthermore, a walk in the Regional Park of Mount Subasio allows you to enjoy the breathtaking natural landscape that characterizes the entire Umbria region.
