Travel experiences in Campania

Campania

Campania is one of the richest regions in terms of art, history, traditions and culture of Italy. Its immense artistic heritage makes it one of the favorite destinations in the world tourism.
Naples like the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento Pompeii, Paestum and Caserta with its Royal Palace are just a part of this wonderful region.
In Campania you can find the richest archaelogical sites in Italy; from Baia, the submerged city, to Velia, the Greek village in Cilento. Since the Roman epoch the region has been known as "Felix". The land has been fertilized by volcanic eruptions over time, making it the center of nature's bounty and abundance of gastronomy. The region has always been considered a privileged destination. Let's consider that even the ancient Roman nobility built their luxury villas along the Bay of Naples, so as to enjoy the natural landscape. The latter are yet another testimony to the prosperity and wealth that the region was experiencing at the time, as well as the Amphitheater.

Campania has 5 declared Unesco World Patrimony Sites:
