Three days Amalfi Coast

During our trip Sorrento & Amalfi Coast we stayed 3 days in Amalfi at the beautiful b&b Villa Maria Luigia. The accommodations in our package were especially ideal for us because we were traveling by public transport. Of course it was impossible to see everything on the Amalfi Coast in three days so I will have it in this blog about the capital Amalfi, colorful Positano and the romantic Ravello where we have seen at least 3 weddings a day!

On arrival at the airport we took the bus to Salerno and then from Salerno the bus to Amalfi.
This was not the shortest - but certainly not boring - route.

Once arrived in Amalfi we immediately took a refreshing dive in the pool with our
accommodation (at the end of August it is still very hot in this area) and in the evening
we visited the center. On the square, Piazza Duomo, you can see the beautiful
admire medieval Dom. From B & B Villa Maria Luigia it is about 20 minutes
walk to the center. From here, buses leave for different buses
destinations.

The second day we first had a delicious breakfast at our b & b with a beautiful view
on the sea and then we went by bus to Positano through the narrow roads
with many turns. The narrow roads of the Amalfi Coast make the tour very interesting because
every time a bus arrives from the other side, one bus has to wait (or even
reverse) to let the other bus pass.

As soon as we got out, we immediately started taking pictures of Positano.
The interesting thing about this place is that the houses are against the rock wall on top of
eachother seem stacked. In order to see some of this village you have to get on well because there are a lot of stairs! On the way back to Amalfi we took the boat where you can admire the coast from
the sea and then we walked to the center to dine here again in the evening.

The third day we went to Ravello. The road to it was great! This village is higher and the road to it is very narrow. As soon as you are halfway through the bus you will immediately be amazed by the beautiful view of the valley. Ravello is very relaxing with all the green around you and the beautiful view. It is also less touristy and less crowded than, for example, Positano and Amalfi. If you go there you should definitely not miss Villa Cimbrone, where you can enjoy the best view! It is also an ideal place for weddings, for those who are still looking for a dream place for their wedding ;)
