The apartments of the Albergo diffuso (diffused hotel), totally renewed using ecological and environmentally friendly materials, are located in the alleyways that characterize the village.
The typical medieval structure of Belmonte Calabro offers to the inhabitants and visitors striking corners, with houses leaning against each other, lining narrow, winding streets (the famous vichi) stately homes which open onto small squares, and characteristic Moorish arches, roof gardens and steep stairways that form an architectural game.
The hotel consists today of 14 fully-equipped houses and autonomous restored entrusting the work (many of the houses were uninhabited for decades and decades) to local craftsmen, who used local materials, while maintaining the original interior features of the Calabrian homes and at the same time according to the latest instructions of the bio-architecture.
