Description
Amongst old stone walls, surrounded by green forests of oaks and fields of olive trees, protected by the historical hill of the "Vereto" resumes its former glory Masseria Palane, an old residence that thanks to a careful renovation, has restored to its original splendor. The Masseria is divided into two b&b; “Le Antiche Stanze” and “Il Patio”.
From the main building, a lateral gate opens up to a spacious garden flanked with tall dry-stone walls, beyond which runs the ancient road that pilgrims used to take to reach Leuca from Otranto.
Mirth, rosemary, and sage bushes combine with lantanas, oleanders, and jasmine giving life to a fragrant and colorful Mediterranean garden adorned with a heated salt-water pool, a solarium, and a relaxation area.
The three private patios of Sole, Vento and Mare, perfect to enjoy breakfast as well as a good book, directly access the pool, where our guests will be able to relax during the day and enjoy the evening surrounded by a thousand candles while sipping the delicious wines of our cellar and/or creative summer cocktails.
The rooms of Le antiche stanze (Messapia, Apulia, Esperia) overlook a typical Salento courtyard.
