Description
Le Capase Resort stays long the eastern coast of Salento, in the natural Regional Park, stretching from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca, from the sky and the sea. Le Capase is a restored building perfectly integrated with the landscape, respecting the local building tradition. Famous architect Carlo Chambry, wishing to respect the elegant nearby farms, used local materials and workmanship of old and well-known quality, such as the "Pietra Leccese", stone of Soleto, stone of Trani, dry-walls, decorative tile floors and the "capase" di Cutrofiano which marks the rhythm between the sky and the sea.
The 17 rooms of the resort have a large terrace or patio and are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fan, safe, mini-bar, Illy coffee machine, hair dryer. The main building houses the classic garden view, classic and superior sea view and are located in the adjacent annex. All prestige rooms have a large patio overlooking the garden and the sea.
The large infinity swimming pool and the restaurant offer a stunning view over the Canal of Otranto, in front of Corfù and its islands. The only building that you can see from the Capase Resort is the historic Tower of Minervino, a Spanish building dating back to the XVI (16th) century. From the garden, following the tracks left by the old fishermen, you can walk down to the cliff and reach the sea.
