Description
Villa Borgo B&B is unique for making the guests feel like at home. They can peacefully relax on the beautiful terrace with breathtaking views while enjoying a glass of wine and participating in a conversation with other guests from around the world. Next morning, they can start their day with rich breakfast, and try Villa Borgo's specialty – eggs with tartufata (truffle sauce). Another unique feature of Villa Borgo's is that it is a traditional stone house renovated and equipped with modern furniture. Almost from the moment of stepping inside the Villa, guests can feel the history of the house in the reception and dining area with the old-fashioned traditional tiles and the original fireplace. The gorgeous view from the terrace is the same as it was for its tenants hundreds of years ago. Rooms and apartments have been refurbished so the guests can enjoy the perks of modern life.
As the person who loves to travel, meeting new people and different cultures, I truly enjoy managing Villa Borgo B&B. It had been my goal for a long time and then in 2012 it finally happened - I started running Villa Borgo B&B by myself. Now, we are a team of 4 - 5 young and cheerful people. Besides running a B&B, I also enjoy playing tennis, listening and performing music, creating websites and graphics. And my photo camera is always with me...
Villa Borgo B&B is located within the walls of Old town Motovun, which makes all the historical sights as well as restaurants and souvenir shops easily reachable. The neighborhood features a variety of highly praised restaurants, all run by the local families. In Motovun's gift shops, there is a great offer of quality local products – truffles, truffle products, jams, wines, olive oil, etc. The surrounding area is ideal for all those who enjoy an active vacation. Excellent bike routes, especially the famous Parenzana, is a magnet for cyclists. Walking trails leading up to Motovun and further, on to other traditional Istrian towns, give hikers an opportunity to actively enjoy the nature and experience breathtaking views. For those interested in culture, well-known Istrian towns, such as Grožnjan or Hum, famous for art and Croatian literacy respectively, are half-an-hour drive away.
