Tenuta Bartoli belongs since centuries to the noble family of the Barons Bartoli, who have moved in the mid-1800s from Tuscany to Sicily.
The descendant Pietro Bartoli together with his wife Mimmi, after living for many years in Milan, where he owned a well-known law firm, decided to return to his roots. In 2015, they took measures to renovate the palace and to create rooms for guests. And stables are now used as small apartments with two or more beds.
Mimmi and Pietro Bartoli, leaving the chaotic city of Milan and realized their dream of moving to Sicily to dedicate himself to a life tied to the land, the animals and their guests.
Tenuta Bartoli is located in a strategic position: at twenty minutes from Piazza Armerina and mosaics from the sea of ??the Falconara Castle, less than an hour from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, from the baroque of Noto, Caltagirone with its ceramics, just over an hour from Palermo, Siracusa and Catania.
At the estate you can see all kinds of animals and, depending on the season, eat fruits that are picked directly from the trees.
Mimmi and Pietro offer at breakfast only products of the estate: cow or goat milk, jam cheese and meat produced on the estate. Customers are treated as welcome guests.
