Description
"Domu Antiga" (in Sardinian: old house) is a typical house built in 1800 in Gergei in the picturesque old town. Samuel, the young owner and his family, have restored the house preserving its original features. During the restoration they have tried to bring the house in the original status recycling stones, lime, wood, cork, reed from the river. One of the features that makes the stay in this home very pleasant, is that the internal temperature remains constant!
Domu Antiga has three double bedrooms with private bathrooms. The furnishings are all original and almost perfectly restored; Beds have a headboard made with the old wool (a type of wool characteristic of the island), bedspreads and rugs typical for the Sardinian art.
A large kitchen will welcome you when you wake up in the morning with a hearty breakfast of genuine products, including renowned local sweets or if you prefer to eat fresh eggs, you can get them from the chicken coop in the courtyard itself.
In winter you can enjoy breakfast in the warmth of the fireplace while in the spring and summer, you can have breakfast outside. "Domu Antiga", will be a stop for relaxation and wellbeing and offer you all the comforts of modern living skillfully integrated for you.
