The history of the Borgo Ospitale
The history of Borgo Ospitale is born after Francesco Bruno, a Lucanian and owner of a company that operates in the drinking water sector in northern Italy, decides to invest in tourism and in particular in his native town of Rotonda, renovating the old house of his parents and other structures and houses in the historic center.
In 2016, after completing the renovation of the structures and having them networked together with hotel services, Il Borgo Ospitale was born, classified as a widespread hotel, the first within the Pollino National Park.
The project was created to favor local products and economies, countering the flow of emigration from the country to the big cities.
