Description
As one approaches Cortijo Juan Salvador, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the shady eucalyptus driveway and panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea. The grounds are vast, spreading over 6.5 hectares wide. It is easy to forget that Malaga town is just a 30-minute drive away!
This family run eco-farm is a true delight: chef David Palacios, the on-site gastronomic master knows how to enchant each and every guest. He picks his products locally and many ingredients are provided from the estate’s own garden.
The building was originally an 18th century old winery, currently converted into two separate villas called ‘La Higuera’ and ‘El Almendro’. Each villa consists of 3 double bedrooms, private terraces, fully equipped kitchens with fridge/ gas hob/ oven, open-plan dining areas, and private entrances. Fortunately the estate has maintained original features such as wooden beamed ceilings and other rustic elements.
The advantage here is that you feel can either connected or disconnected to other lodgers; depending on your mood.
Another plus point, is that one can join Massage, reflexology and cooking classes, on-site upon request.
