Description
Poggio al Sole is a small farm and family-owned farm. Exclusive place from which to visit Florence, Fiesole and the Chianti area. The welcoming is friendly and helpful.
A special care is given to the cultivation of saffron. The stigmas, manually detached from the flower one by one at the time of collection (which occurs every day between October and November by all family members) are made to dry slowly and then packaged. The resulting product is completely natural and free from any extraneous addition or manipulation.
