Molino la Nava - Montoro, Cordoba

Accommodation in the village of Nava near the town of Montoro almost an hour's drive from Cordoba. The property is housed in an old mill that used to produce olive oil. You can still see the remains of this in the restaurant. The whole thing looks a bit old and messy in places, but that is also the charm of the location. The rooms are spacious and tidy, but unfortunately nothing could be done about the unpleasant odor from the shower drain. The staff is extremely friendly and does their best to please everyone. Breakfast is very extensive and every day you can choose to have lunch and dinner there and there is a varied choice from the menu. The area is characterized by olive trees and Aloe Vera plants. Unfortunately we were unable to find a good restaurant in Montoro. Many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and the following days we stood in front of a closed door at some of them because the owners appeared to be on holiday. Advice to have the receptionist make a reservation if you want to eat in Montoro. We spent 1 day in Cordoba, the accommodation is actually just too far to go an extra day. - 16/08/2023
