Casa Dalì - Amalfi

An historic villa in Amalfi which is detailed in the famous book on the Costiera Amalfitana ~ entitled ‘Costa delle Sirene’ published in 1867.
In Amalfi, the people refer to the villa as the "Palace" , which was purchased in 1943 by the Marquis Francesco Mottola of Amato. Renovated by the heirs which sought to emphasize the architectural beauty of the villa, the airiness of the rooms, and to delight the senses by planning an exquisite garden.
In 2004 the villa was declared a "monument of national interest" by the Ministry of Culture.

Casa Dali is one of the apartments of an ancient historic villa situated in a panoramic position. The house has three bedrooms for a total of 5 sleeps, a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a large terrace overlooking the sea.

The villa is situated 200 metres from the beautiful beach of Duoglio (Lido degli Artisti), which can be accessed via a spectacular descent of steps or by one of many boats that leave from the harbour (10/15 minutes walk from the Villa).

The Villa is equipped with all modern comforts, yet retains it’s elegant aristocratic character, including the fascinating cave that gives access to the elevator.

The spacious interiors and the striking views of the apartments can be enjoyed in all seasons. It is close to many outstanding villages, historic sites and locations ( Ravello, Positano, Emerald Grotto, Paestum, Pompeii, Capri, etc).

The villa can be accessed via two entrances: one on the main road using the elevator and the second situated at the top of the property, which opens onto a pedestrian street.

The apartment is equipped with:
Air conditioning in the rooms, wi~fi, 32 "TV with satellite connection, fully equipped kitchen (with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, dishes, cutlery, accessories and washing machine)

Dali House is an apartment located on two levels on the eastern side of the villa. It ios located on the second floor of the building. Decorated in shades of red and blue, all rooms have a superb view of Amalfi and is composed of:

First level:

• a living/dining room with exit on a circular terrace overlooking the sea and Amalfi and equipped with a table, chairs and umbrella;
• a double bedroom with an elegant bed (early twentieth century) and access to the same terrace of the living /dining room + balcony
• a kitchen with antique tiles, fully equipped;
• a bathroom with shower

The second floor is reachable trough about 20 steps and consists of:

• a double room with balcony and sea view
• a bedroom with loft and French bed
• A bathroom with bath

A few miles from the property there is a beautiful and large public swimming pool.
The payment for the entrance is directly at the entrance. Shuttle service and beach towels are included in the entrance cost. For more information please contact us
