Description
The old residence Antica Dimora sees the light at the end of the 18th century, and over time has gradually expanded the original structure, enriched with elements from the nineteenth century to reach the current appearance of the early 20th century.
At the beginning of 2016 has been completed the full restoration of the property, followed by specialized architects and restorers, with the utmost care and with the intention to maintain the tracks and the styles of different eras. Frescos, tiles, marble and furniture in fine woods have so rediscovered their former glory, in a versatile typical Sicilian harmony.
Antica Dimora brings so in the light, along with the existing residence Antica Dimora, the original idea of the property, as provided by the ancestors of the owners. The house is actually owned by the historic Montalto family, and has always been conceived as a meeting place and community of the family who spent the summer here, while feasting on the harvest and passed on the family traditions. This memory is still kept alive by the family of the owners, their children and grandchildren, with the desire to share it with our guests.
